The Boston BeauTease (formerly The Boston Babydolls) are New England's leading burlesque troupe. We are dedicated to re-creating a Golden Age of Burlesque that never really existed.
The Boston BeauTease GO BANANAZ!
It's the tropical sensation that's sweeping the nation! The Boston BeauTease, the official Ambassadors of Burlesque, in conjuction with the United Fruit Company, have declared Saturday, May 20 to be International Bananaz day!*
The mixologists at Deacon Giles Speakeasy have developed a menu of delicious cocktails for all of you banana fans, and while they're shaking things up behind the bar, The Boston BeauTease will be shaking things up on stage! Join Artemisia Vulgaris, Betty Blaize, Brigitte Bisoux, Devastasia, and Miss Mina Murray (along with their trusty guide, Scratch) on a expedition to uncover only the tastiest burlesque, hand-picked at the peak of ripeness!
*- Either that or Scratch lost a bet with Brigitte and has to produce a banana-themed show, but we're sticking with the first story.
Seats are extremely limited. These shows sell out ahead of time.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Please be punctual.
Boston BeauTease's Spring Fling!
This award winning Boston troop re-creates the golden age of variety show burlesque. For over a decade the ensemble has been dancing, singing, shaking, shimmying, bumping, and tassel twirling their way across New England. With its Victorian roots, American Burlesque has recently reemerged with great popularity, with hundreds of shows in the Boston area and having become popular locally at the Portsmouth Music Hall and Seacoast Repertoire Theatre.
The Boston BeauTease repertoire boasts hundreds of routines, from sizzlingly sensual to the side-splitingly comedic! Whether swirling and twirling gigantic feather fans, offering devilish delights, or swaying and sashaying to a live singer, every performance is a night to remember. They have shared the stage with burlesque legends like Tempest Storm, Satan's Angel, and April March, as well as modern burlesque greats such as Angie Pontani and Jo Weldon.
Note: This is an 18 and over show. Castle doors open at 6:30 pm with drinks and menu including appetizers, salad and sandwiches. Show is 8 to 10pm. Seating is intimate and limited, tickets recommended in advance
